ONLINE CONSULTATIONS FOR SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS - CLICK "GET STARTED" BELOW TO ACCESS
The surgery has introduced a "triage" system for same day appointment requests. This means that appointments can no longer be booked directly by telephone at 08:30. The best way to request an appointment is to submit an online consultation by clicking GET STARTED above and the surgery will review this and get back to you within 2 hours. Full details can be found by reading this document. You can also click HERE to read our patient guide.
We now have appointments available to book for your annual flu vaccination. If you are over 65, pregnant or aged 12-64 and fall into one of the 'at risk' categories you can book into one of our Saturday Flu Clinics being held on the 2nd and 9th November. Patients aged 70 - 79 should also ask the receptionist if you are eligible for a shingles vaccination.
Children aged 2 - 5 years will this year be vaccinated by the health visiting team. You can still call the surgery and book into their clinics. Appointments are currently available on Monday 4th November and Monday 18th November.
Attend Anywhere - Video Consultations
We now are able to offer video consultations to patients who have difficulty in attending the surgery. This could be due to work commitments or mobility issues. As a general rule this is appropriate for any problems that you think you will mainly have to talk about and if you think a GP will need to touch or examine you then it is not suitable for a video consultation. Please ask our receptionists if you would like to book a video consultation. FIND OUT MORE HERE
Minor Ailments - Help Us Help You!
Many minor ailments such as coughs and colds can be treated with medicines available at your local pharmacy or the supermarket. This helps you feel better quicker and keeps our appointments available for when we are needed. We have a minor ailments area of our website (which you can access by clicking here or clicking minor illness on the right side of this page) which is designed to help you with how to manage minor illnesses in you and your family. The NHS also has a useful website called NHSInform to help you make decisions about who is the most appropriate person to ask for help from for a variety of issues.
We offer online repeat prescription and appointment booking via this website. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A DIFFERENT SERVICE TO THE ECONSULT SERVICE. We are inviting people to register for this service by downloading and printing the form below and handing it into the practice. Please note each family member will need their own form and over 13's will need to fill out their own form with their own email address.
When booking, confirmation of the appointment will be sent to the registered email address - please bear this in mind if anyone other than the patient involved has access to that email - they may also see this confirmation email for your appointment.
