Travel Vaccines

If you are planning any travel overseas you should have a look at the following website where you will find useful information about the country you are travelling to, along with any vaccinations that you may require.

These can also be collected from our reception desk (with one completed form per traveller).  You should then make an appointment with one of our Practice Nurses in the Travel Clinic.  Patients are advised to allow plenty of time for vaccinations (at least two or three months) especially if travelling to an out-of-the-way place where they'll be living or working among local people.  Some courses of vaccine such as rabies or Hepatitis B need to be given over several weeks.
