Dr Howard joined the practice in 1992 and has special interests in Dermatology (skin diseases),GP training and minor surgery. He can also insert contraceptive coils and does private offshore medicals.

Dr Dossett joined the practice in 1992 and his clinical interests are child health surveillance and protection. He is also a tutor for medical undergraduate students.

Dr Reary joined the practice in 2004 and has specialist interests in diabetes, orthopaedics, sports medicine and minor surgery. He can also insert implanons. Dr Reary is also involved in management as the Deputy Clinical Lead for Aberdeenshire and on the National GP Committee. Dr Reary is also trained in anti-wrinkle treatments which he does for the practice privately.

Dr Chong joined the practice in 2006 and his clinical interests include cardiology and GP training. Dr Chong is also trained in acupunture and is a registered member of the British Medical Acupunture Society

Dr McGurran joined the practice in 2007 and has an interest in women and child health and can also insert both coils and implanons. Dr McGurran also does private offshore medicals.

Dr Johnston joined the practice in 2010. She undertakes abdominal and pelvic ultrasound scanning at Kincardine Community Hospital and Minor surgery at Stonehaven Medical Centre. She also has an interest in women's health and is a tutor for medical students.

Dr Ross joined the practice in 2012 and has specialist interests in diabetes, renal medicine and I.T. Dr Ross also has an interest in sexual health and can insert implanons

Dr McLaughlin joined the practice in 2012 and has a special interest in respiratory medicine. Dr McLaughlin is also clinical lead for the local community hospital - Kincardine Community Hospital. He is also BASIC (pre-hospital care) trained and does work with the Sandpiper Trust. Dr McLaughlin is also trained in anti-wrinkle treatments which he does privately within the practice.
RGN, RMN Practice Nurse Barbara joined the practice in 2008. In addition to general nursing duties, Barbara also helps run the diabetic, asthma and well person clinics. She also runs our travel clinic (see travel tab in menu above) and can change existing pessaries

Angela joined the practice in 2011 and carries out well person clinics, cryotherapy and general nursing duties.
Joanne joined in 2011 and as well as regular nursing duties she also helps with Well Person clinics and child immunisations. She also helps with chronic disease management of kidney and heart disease

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one. They are also trained to do ECG's, flu vaccines, B12 injections and simple dressings

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
The team of midwives will provide care throughout your pregnancy and after your baby is born. Your midwife will plan your antenatal care with you together with your GP and appropriate maternity services. You will be invited to attend antenatal sessions to help you prepare for parenting and to meet other mums-to-be. After your baby is born you will receive midwifery care at home. The midwives can be contacted by telephone (see contacts section) or leave a message on answering machine. However if you require urgent advice at any time please contact the Labour Ward at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital
The District Nursing team work collaboratively with other members of multidisciplinary agencies to provide a wide range of skilled nursing care to mainly housebound patients in their own home. Specialist areas include care of patients undergoing ambulatory chemotherapy, phlebotomy, complex wound management, continence advice and palliative care. The Community Psychiatric nurses are part of the Mental Health team and are attached to the practice.
