NHS Inform and NHS 24 (Phone 111) are now the first points of contact for Coronavirus (COVID19) related queries
PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT ANY COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) CONSULTATIONS VIA ECONSULT AS YOU WILL BE ASKED TO CONTACT 111 OR RE-DIRECTED TO THE NHS INFORM WEBSITE AS PER THE GUIDANCE BELOW.
You should only call 111 if you feel you cannot manage your symptoms at home or if the NHS Inform website does not answer your Covid-19 query.
Following on from the Scottish Government guidance, the Practice asks that patients who are attending the surgery could come wearing a face covering – e.g. scarf or cloth. This is not currently mandatory, but patient co-operation would be very much appreciated to protect both patients and staff. Thank you! 😷
Important Update - Shielding from Coronovirus
The following video from Heathcare Improvement Scotland is to help those most vulnerable to coronavirus infection, to understand why we may be phoning you to discuss aspects of anticipatory care planning.
People identified as being in the highest risk groups will be sent a letter from the Chief Medical Officer, with advice on how to protect themselves and access the care and treatment they need during this pandemic. Click HERE for further information.
If you identify as being in the high risk group but have not received a letter or text by the end of this week you should check the NHS Inform website or contact the surgery
We want to reassure you that you will still get the usual medical care you need during this period. Due to the situation, demand for all health services is very high and your GP practice will be in touch with you as soon as they can to arrange with you how best to ensure that. Please only get in touch with us if you have any significant concerns.
